Ask a question about this product

Charles Fort (1874 - 1932) had the right attitude towards the unexplained: nothing is so firmly proved that it can't be re-examined -- and nothing is so ridiculous that it isn't worth looking into.  Whether we are researching reports of vampires, werebeasts, ghosts, demons, phantoms or poltergeists, we always try to be scientific and objective.  We visit the site; we collect the data; we interview the witnesses.  Then we try to examine the evidence critically.  We categorise it, evaluate it and formulate a hypothesis or two.  Whenever possible we try to test the theory.  If it stands up to every test we can devise, it gets promoted to the rank of a possible explanation.  The Big Book of Mysteries contains a wide variety of the strange phenomena that we have approached in this way.
